The tagline for this blog is “Exchanging Father Wounds for the Love of God the Father”  This is not be possible without a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Everything I write about: forgiveness, healing, peace, courage, love, hope, and purity all pour out of my relationship with Him.  He has changed my life for the better, for good.  If you are interested in knowing Him I cannot think of a better decision anyone could make.

God has given us some simple steps in His word when it comes to salvation.  You only need a willing heart.  Romans 10 : 8 – 13 says, “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.  As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, or, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Dear Lord,

Thank you for the gift of salvation.  I believe that You died on a cross for my sins and that God raised you up from the dead.  I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I ask You to come and live in my heart.

In Jesus’ Name

Amen

If you prayed the above prayer, that’s it!  Welcome to the Christian faith.  Salvation is immediate, however, the process of becoming like Christ takes time.  For this reason I would recommend becoming a part of a growing community of believers that can support you on this new journey.   This can be a daunting task so ask God to guide you in this process. Additionally, I have included a church finder link to help you locate churches in your area.
